Description: This fabulous French art deco mirror was wrought in Iron, entirely by hand!
The style and work in “fer forge” … more This fabulous French art deco mirror was wrought in Iron, entirely by hand!
The style and work in “fer forge” was very popular in France during the
1925-1930 period.

The mirror was first hand wrought and hammered with the design, and then accented
with gold gilt in areas.
It also retains its original decorative hanging cord and Tassels.

Discovered in the region of Lyon, France, where the artist “Raymond Subes” was known
to have worked and designed In this manner of “fer forge”
We are attributing this mirror to him, but alas, it is not signed.

This artful mirror is in excellent condition, showing only Very Minor spotting in the glass
from age (see photo).

The size is approx. 39”wide by 19”tall. (it can be used Without the hanging cord)

An impressive and decorative item for your entryway or the Dining room,
