This is a very rare set of four Michael Lambert Art Deco-inspired cups and saucers. Each piece is hand signed. The cups also have a handwritten model number and are dated '84'.
We believe this may have been a very limited production, perhaps even a sample set. The only other reference we can find is a photograph of the design on the front cover of the September 1984 edition of the magazine Ceramics Monthly.
Cups and saucers are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The glaze shows some typical crazing.
We also have three side plates from the same series listed separately.
