Functional and elegant lounge sofa/daybed model GS195 designed by Gianni Songia for Sormani, Italy 1963. This sofa has a sculptural rosewood sliding frame and very nice original black leather cushions and seating.
The sofa can easily be changed from a sofa to a sleeping sofa with only 1 hand. The hidden legs and high back rest creates a floating look of this sofa. Lovely piece of Italian design. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
