I recently had the wooden sphere added to a metal and wooden stand to better showcase the piece of art. The swirling carved wooden object is one of the oldest ancient symbols in the world. We see it etched on rocks and in caves in unimaginable places throughout the planet. It represents our galaxy and it's swirls of gases and matter. How the ancient cultures have had access to this knowledge is still a mystery. See less
