Here is a stunning side table made in the style of Salvadori for Coco Chanel. The piece is from the mid-century and features a gilt gold tole metal base with a round glass top. The base looks like a figurative bundle of wheat that has been tied in the center with a twisted ribbon. I love the wheat and leaf details on the top and the curled feet at the bottom. In exceptional vintage condition. Gold has that wonderful rich, antiqued feel.
