Czechoslovakian and other post-1920 porcelain and ceramics bear the Erphila brand. Items imported by Philadelphia-based giftware company Ebeling & Reuss, which was established in 1866 and went out of business sometime after 2002, bore this logo. The symbol combines the initial initials of the city, Phila (Delphia), with the letters E and R (Ebeling & Reuss). American importers employ a variety of marks, one of which is Erphila. less
