A captivating original oil on canvas laid to board painting depicting a twilight scene in what appears to be a European harbor. Unsigned, set in a high quality carved burlwood frame. The date of production is estimated to be third quarter of the 20th century. The frame measures approximately 24" x 20" x 2". The stretcher is approximately 19 3/8" x 15 3/8".
Very good vintage condition with vibrant colors, etc. There are a few small areas of paint loss at the upper right hand corner (see last photo) as well as at the top mid-left near the frame.
