Handwoven in a wool flatweave, originating circa 1950-1960, this 5x11 vintage Turkish kilim is an excellent example of the slit weave and is dense with colors that have aged beautifully for its period—remaining particularly crisp in the brighter colors that tend to show age faster—a rare find like few of its kind.
