Handwoven in wool, this 8x10 Kilim is from an exciting new custom-capable flatweave collection by Rug & Kilim.
On the Design:
“Rez Kilim'' represents a contemporary homage to Turkish and Persian panel-weaving styles in a textural approach to minimalist rugs. This piece enjoys a play of seafoam green and blue tones, underscored by light brown accents in the weft and stitching between the panels (or columns). Admirers of the craft will appreciate the way the fundamentals of a traditional flatweaving style have been reimagined in an almost impressionistic look at geometric patterns, ribbing, and the subtleties of a Kilim.
