This Mid 20th Century smaller sized mosaic is done in the "Pietra Dura" technique (see size and definition below).

The image represents two beautiful parrots perched on a branch made out of inlaid polished semi-precious gemstones in wonderful colors of sky blue, pink, raspberry red, dark green, yellow and black. The background in made of beige travertine. Signed Mosalite in bottom right hand corner in raised brass lettering and also signed with its original vintage Black & Gold label on verso: Mosalite, Mosaic Masterpieces with Natural Stones, Handmade in Brazil. Original Brass chain on verso. Ready for hanging.

EXCELLENT CONDITION. No flaws whatsoever...just perfect! This item was barely used and the new owner will be very happy about the condition of this well preserved vintage item.
