Offering a vintage Trompe-l'Oeil watermelon porcelain pitcher, signed Shafford Japan, 1983. . This water pitcher represents a small watermelon with a sliced wedge out of the front to create the spout and enhance the unique design. It is hand-painted Japanese porcelain with an engraved signature, (Shafford Originals) and dated in Roman numerals on the bottom. It also retains its original Shafford Japan paper label. There are felt pads on the bottom to protect your surfaces.
Keep in mind this is a smaller size water pitcher and is completely functional and holds approximately 4 cups of liquid. It can be on display as a purely decorative item in your dining areas or kitchen.
