This vintage item … Read more Offering an outstanding vintage Trompe l'Oeil Majolica Porcelain Canister depicting a stack of 13 plates, circa 1960s. This vintage item is signed on the bottom: Til. It is almost identical to the Este Ceramiche porcelain trompe l'Oeil canisters made for Tiffany. This canister can be used for storage or simply as a decorative item. There are two hand painted three dimensional eggs on the top plate and there are 13 tromp l'Oeil plates in total. One egg is completely peeled, while the other egg is partially peeled with crack egg pieces scattered on the plate. This stunning Italian Mid 20th Century work of art porcelain is very rare and hard to find, especially in this design and condition.
