This Walasse Ting rare vintage large custom framed fine art offset lithograph print " Can I Give You a Parrot ? " 1983, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. The large framed art print is presented with a double layer float mounted presentation with an off white matt board backing, and a hand torn edge natural cream art paper stock detail bordering the print. It features an Expressionist artwork image created by the artist Walasse Ting in 1983 titled " can I Give You a Parrot ? ".
Walasse Ting ( 1929 - 2010 ) was a Chinese born American visual artist and poet. His colorful Expressionist paintings have attracted critical admiration, the unusual artworks are held in ver high regard. Ting lived in Paris in the 1950's, there he was associated with the Avant - Garde group Cobra, later moving to New York in the 1960's where his work was influenced by the Pop Art and Abstract Expressionist movements.
Ting is the author of 13 books including the famous " One Cent Life " 1964, a portfolio of original lithographs by 28 artists including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist, Karel Appel, Joan Mitchell, and Sam Francis among many others. Artworks by Ting are included in the collections of many prestigious museums worldwide including The Guggenheim Museum New York, The Centre Pompidou Paris, The Hong Kong Museum of Art, The Tate Modern London, and The Museum of Modern Art New York.
The rare vintage large format framed art print measures 26 1/4" W X 43 1/4" H X 3/4" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a classic Modern black metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
