On the right side, the trim goes for about 6" and stops. It is finished off and looks normal, but upon close inspection, you can see small nail holes where the rest of the trim was secured. The supports for the flip top are missing their knobs, but one of wood knobs is in the desk drawer. You can use this to pull out the supports, but in time you will want to find some nice dark brass ones at you local hardware store. There are also 2 screws missing from one of the hinges. less
