PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND!! JM Poirier Outsider style Folk Art Head Rustic Hand-Painted Wood Carving Canada. Measures 9.5” tall and 5” wide. Made from what appears to be a tree stump or thick branch. He is an Acadian who was born in the Magdalen Islands in 1949. He spent nearly a decade living in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia. Jean Marc worked the night shift at the local fish processing plant, and filled his daytime hours making rough and colourful carvings of just about every subject imaginable. Jean Marc stopped carving for several years but after he received some encouragement from a collector he did do some carving in 2006. Jean Marc has since retired from carving, and has relocated back to the Magdalen Islands (Iles de la Madeleine).

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
