Perfectly sized for use in smaller spaces, this handsome solid oak wood art deco-style wardrobe has a striking design and excellent storage functionality. As a clothing wardrobe or quasi-chest of drawers, cubbies on the right will keep lingerie, shirts/tops or shoes nice and tidy while the pull-out hanging rail allows clothing to be hung neatly. It can serve as a stylish linen storage cabinet for tablecloths, table runners, cloth napkins and placemats or for bedroom or bath linens, as well! It weighs approximately 150 lbs. and measures as follows:

Overall: 47” high (includes 1” rail at the top) x 30” wide x 18” deep
Interior left side with pull-out hanging rail: 39½” x 18” x 16” H/W/D; 37” drop from hanging rail to bottom
Interior right side: there are four storage cubbies measuring 9½” x 10½” x 15½” H/W/D apiece; clearance between each cubby 9½”

Handcrafted from oak wood and quartersawn oak wood with a mid-tone walnut stain finish which allows the quartersawn oak wood grain to show through beautifully on the door fronts; another type of wood was used for the interior cubbies. On the interior you will find a sliding latch on the left door and a bullet catch on the right door to keep the doors securely closed. There is so much textural and visual interest to this wardrobe which includes the gorgeous carved animal paw-shape feet on the front and back, a floral and fan carved panel and circular accent trim on the upper part of the doors finished with full length ribbed panel and leaf motif antiqued brass pulls. In excellent condition with age appropriate “bumps and bruises” of life type of wear which includes some wear to the finish in random places. Since wood is an organic material, it shrinks across the grain with age so you will find there is an age-appropriate tension crack on the top of the left side that is approximately 1/32 of an inch wide and 12 inches long (see photos 8 & 11) that does not affect the structural integrity or beauty of the wardrobe. There is no makers mark to be found. With its fetching good looks, adaptable size and fabulous storage potential, this wardrobe will add character and style in any space!
