This is a Dansk Design Silver-Plated Spiral Tapered Candleabra. It was designed by by Bertil Vallien for Dansk, circa 1970s. Made in france, the piece is delicate and sculptural silver plated coil. It holds 12 long taper candles with a diameter of 1/4". It is good vintage condition with some patina on the plating, it will polish up beautifully. Marked underneath Dansk Designs France B. V.
The designer Bertil Vallien, is a master sand caster and one of the most celebrated glass artists in Sweden. His work is well represented in leading museums around the world. He works in a mythical, dream-like world of symbolic imagery.
