About The Poster: The history of travel - in the United States and elsewhere - is filled with tales of romance and adventure. This poster, printed at the very beginning of the Art Deco period, is unusual for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is its horizontality, its typography (which seems to have been hand-drawn) and the magnificent coloration of its subjects and its broad expanses. An exceptional poster, not seen previously, mounted on linen, and in very good overall condition (please see photos).
