The designer and producer of these chairs are believed to be made in West Germany in the 1960’s. These chairs were clearly inspired by the Scandinavian aesthetics of the time. The slick, angular shaped form of the ash wood with precise detailing is the main design feature. The original fabric was sadly damaged beyond repair and therefore was replaced with new fabric, which nicely contrasts with the honey colour of the ash wood.

The ash frame has been recently refurbished to its former glory. Our experienced restorer has carried the restoration to the highest standard, using French polishing technique and Shellac varnish to hand finish the entire piece to its original former glory. less
