Atomic or space age chandelier finished in polished chrome. Design from the 1960s-1970s by Kalmar of Austria, "Sirius" model.
Sirius lights are beautiful sculptural pieces that, in our experience, don't come on the market often. The light has a striking and unusual asymmetrical design, and reminds us of a complex molecular structure, or the Atomium at Expo 58 in Brussels.
Each of the twelve globes features a small screw-in bulb which, once installed, forms part of the overall size and silhouette.
This specimen is in very good general condition.
To protect this light in the future, we recommend that you use low heat bulbs. In these images we have shown silver crown bulbs to echo the design of the fixture, but the shape or style of the bulb can be changed depending on your project.
Approximate dimensions:
As the overall size of the light depends on the bulbs used, we indicate the approximate dimensions both without the bulbs and including the golf ball bulbs, as shown.
Measurements: Diameter 56 cm including the bulbs or 48 cm excluding the bulbs
Luminaire height only 50 cm with bulbs or 42 cm without bulbs
Total height from the top of the roof to the bottom of the lowest bulb, approximately 87 cm.

official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
