This is an exceptional antique piece, crafted with extraordinary attention to detail and in outstanding condition, dating back to the late 19th century, around 1880. It comprises a stunning 14kt yellow gold intaglio hardstone locket of Mercury. It features a finely engraved intaglio of a full-body Mercury, measuring approximately 1.0" L X 0.87" W (excluding the bail) and weighing 11.44 grams. The locket's meticulous craftsmanship and intricate details are a testament to the artisan's skill.
