The cabinet has 3 drawers and ample storage behind 2 doors. It … more Beautiful red lacquer sideboard from Fortune, Hong Kong.
The cabinet has 3 drawers and ample storage behind 2 doors. It is decorated in gold on the front sides and top with traditional Chinese Chinese motifs and symbols for happiness, good fortune and longevity such as peaches, bats and lotus blossoms. The interiors are painted red. The hardware is brass or bronze and includes feet.
Protective glass top included.
MARKINGS: Fortune Hong Kong label and a silver foil label that appears to be recognition for an award. It reads "Murele Europa, International Trophy, Furniture/ Europe, Paris, January 1982."
MADE: in Hong Kong, late 20th C.
