The wall plaque was created by the French enamel artist Françoise and depicts a Dutch riverscape with a traditional windmill. The Holland landscape has been created in a jeweled palette of enamel on a copper metal base. It has been signed by the French artist on the lower left corner and features the name of the town of Limoges where there is a long tradition of painting in enamel. The plaque has been mounted in an dark brown wooden frame with gold accents. There is a small hanging ring on the reverse side and an original printed label with red wax seal and ribbon guaranteeing that it is an authentic hand painted Limoges enamel work of art.
