It was created by the acclaimed Auguste Majorelle … more An enchanting antique French porcelain menu holder dating from the late 1800s. It was created by the acclaimed Auguste Majorelle porcelain company in the town of Nancy. The menu has been manufactured from traditional French white porcelain and the front has been decorated with a charming hand colored image of a girl holding a parasol. The edges have hand painted accents in blue. The table menu holder has the word "Menu" in large decorative letters on the top right corner. The front surface has been left unglazed to allow for the menu to be handwritten in pencil. The reverse side is glazed and features decorative stands at the base. The underside is stamped with the Majorelle Nancy maker's mark.
It will make a great addition to your French tableware or to your spring table decor. less
