These … Read more This really is a Very Nice Looking Antique American Yellow Ware Kitchen Batter Mixing Bowl. Circa Late 19th Century. These were used for Batters - Bread Dough - Cakes - Cookies - Etc. It is Thick - Substantially Constructed Weighing Well Over 2 1/2 Pounds. It Has 4 Hand Decorated Bands at the Mid Section - 2 Cream and 2 Brown Color. This is a Hand Made Piece of Pottery. It has no Maker or Other Markings. It is in Very Good - Strong - Sound - Perfectly Usable Condition. No Chips - No Structural Cracks - No Repairs. It has a few Small - Minor Age and Use Related Surface Stain Spots on the Interior Walls & Basin. The Basin has Some Egg Beater & Spoon Wear to the Glaze. There is a Very Faint Surface Closed Ends Hairline on the Interior Wall that has Developed some Staining as a Result of Use Over the Years. It Displays Very Nicely.
It measures 4 1/2 inches Tall x 9 1/2 inches Wide - Long at Top Rim.
