It has been entirely restored -- both the wooden frame (probably oak) and the seat cushion (down) and frame. The upholstery was done by my master tradesman in West Hollywood, and has lovely piping, and great attention to detail in the way the ikat pattern is placed on the seat, front and back of the chair. The fabric is a sturdy but classy-looking linen/cotton blend in a vibrant ikat of deep orange, pinks and reds on a white ground. This chair can make a charming pair with another similar one I have listed, if you have room for them both! See less
