A 1964 extendable oak dining table attributed to Danish furniture designer Henning Kjærnulf. This Scandinavian Modern dining table is constructed of solid oak in a warm, honey finish and features a scalloped apron and four simple legs with carved detailing. The round top expands to form a monumental oval surface using three 19.5” leaves and collapsable center support, making this dining table highly versatile and functional. Unsigned. Stamped 1964 on underside. Denmark.
Good vintage condition. One large scratch is present on surface and various small marks throughout that align with age and use. The leaves are a lighter shade of oak than the table base, which is common in a vintage dining table. Date marked on underside.
