The base of the shades have a subtle inset scalloped trim, which sits atop a square burgundy marble base with stunning ivory veining. The base is elevated slightly on four round brass feet. We can envision this timeless pair used as on a pair of nightstands, anchoring a console, or even styled on the floor to illuminate a cozy corner or favorite piece of art. Italy, 20th Century.

Great vintage condition. A beautiful patina to the bronze shades and brass feet. Very minor wear to the marble bases includes small chips to several corners, which are largely inconspicuous and can be seen in photographs. These lamps were professionally rewired for U.S. use with new sockets and cords with inline switches. Each lamp accepts one standard base light bulb.
