Born on October 27, 1912, Carl Koch established himself as a prominent figure in American architecture. With a background deeply rooted in architectural principles, Koch brought his expertise to Vermont Tubbs Furniture, renowned for its commitment to traditional woodworking techniques and the creation of exquisite wooden pieces. With degrees from Harvard for Architecture and a masters from MIT, he had an incredibly strong foundation in architectural principles and design, which he later applied to his innovative approaches in housing and furniture design.
