In addition to its practical uses as a server for cream, melted butter, or small amounts of other liquids, this sweet little pitcher also makes a lovely addition to a small still life arrangement on a shelf or table. Condition is exceptionally good for vintage and use. While reviewing the photos, considered part of its description, be aware that the bright and shiny surface encouraged reflections from surrounding objects and surfaces that were unavoidable, but they are NOT resident within this item.

Background on maker Reed & Barton: founded in Massachusetts in 1824 as a silversmith company specializing in sterling and silverplate flatware.
