- The cabinet has a charmingly imperfect, rustic look with several character imperfections. The door is a bit off-kilter but stays … moreThe cabinet has a charmingly imperfect, rustic look with several character imperfections. The door is a bit off-kilter but stays closed with a push at the bottom. The chicken wire may be a recent addition and is a nice, bright gold brass, but it bows outward slightly. It appears as if there may be a missing piece of wood trim on the top, but once the cabinet is hung, it is not noticeable. The hardboard backing has some stamped numbers on it, but once items are inside, they would be covered. The back interior would look lovely painted a color (think antique white or Wedgwood blue) and would set off whatever is being displayed, and the stamped numbers would be hidden that way as well. Despite its rustic appearance and these "imperfections," the piece is sturdy and ready to be hung as is. Please take a close look at all the photos. less
