The … Read more A 19th Century, antique French two part bureau made of hand crafted polished, partly veneered Mahogany in good condition. The secretaire is composed with two upper doors, three shelves and three large drawers, particularized by its original brass hardware and keys, each of them is featuring two polished brass handles, pulls. The secretary is detailed with a writing flap, consisting its original dark-red leather top and many small storage spaces, standing on four arched wooden feet. The writing table, desk represents the First French Empire time period, era also known as Napoleonic France. Minor losses, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1810 - 1830, France. See less
