Sublime set of twelve greco-roman klismos style patio and garden cast aluminum dining chairs designed by Michael Taylor. The garden chairs (model #MTD-1006) have an iconic design further enhanced by a gilt finish with an intentionally aged patina. The klismos chairs feature a large ergonomic conforming tablet back. The generous seat has a woven lattice design topped with new Belgian linen seat cushions. The seat measures 19 inches high with cushions. The chairs are supported by dramatic saber legs in the neoclassical style. The cast aluminum frames have been refinished in an aged gilt with an intentionally weathered patina on the finish. Very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship Sold as a set of twelve. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
