Sterling butter pick by Webster Company. This Massachusetts company began making silver wares in 1869. They are now part of Reed & Barton.
Traditionally, this two tine pick was used for easily piercing and serving pats of butter. It is often used for other condiments, such as lemons and olives.
This fork is in good condition, consistent with a gently used antique utensil. There are some slight surface abrasions, which can be seen in the photos.
