As you can see, it has a rather large dent at the top in the back. Some other scratches front and back, and it is very tarnished. Even though it is silver plated metal, my experience with trophies with this particular patina is that they do not polish to an overall shiny finish. You can try but I can't guarantee a good result. Still, a terrific dog collectible and addition to a trophy collection, nice as a vase as well.
