The thick glass top rests on two right angle thick pieces of glass held together with the wonderful European beech wood (image #9)

The chairs have elegant modern lines with dark brown leather seats. Extremely comfortable with a slight bend on the lower back for support.

This is a 38 year old vintage set in amazing condition. The beech has minor wear and very few nicks or scratches.
The leather seats have some slight scratches which is to be expected based on their age. However, as is evident in the images that I have posted, their structure (see images of the undersides) is sturdy and don't show their age. One does see minor wear on the underside of the leather (image #11) but they aren't noticeable when the chairs are right side up. Slight wear on the top edges (see image #12)
The glass top has the surface scratches that a table of this age would show. One of the right angle pieces has a chip (image #10).

You won't be purchasing an "as new" set, but you will be purchasing a piece from the time when things were made to last without sacrificing aesthetics. This is a vintage beauty. A perfect balance of form and function. less
