Stylish and finely detailed large opal & diamond brooch crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1960s).

Cabochon cut opal measures 23mm x 12mm. Single cut diamonds total an estimated 0.20 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS2-SI2 clarity).

A long oval natural opal adorns the center of the elaborate brooch, with diamonds set in cascading form. The opal shows a strong play of colors with flashes of green, purple, turquoise, orange and yellow. The brooch is large in scale and makes a great statement. The matching earrings and ring are also available for sale.

The brooch is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
