Description: Exquisite early 20th-century lamp with twining leaves, tendrils, acorns, and suspended hand-painted porcelain flowers and buds. A classic French bouillotte … more Exquisite early 20th-century lamp with twining leaves, tendrils, acorns, and suspended hand-painted porcelain flowers and buds. A classic French bouillotte form with 3 arms and adjustable shade on a center stalk. The deconstructed original shade retains its muslin casing. The spare architectural form is an interesting counterpoint to the intricate base. Included are its original bronze finial, cup, and key.
This lamp has more recent modern wiring and is in good working condition. Takes small base light bulbs. Pictured with small base 25w Chandelier bulbs. Would be lovely with silicone or Edison style bulbs.
The lamp body is 9” Dia x 22” to finial top. Shade dimensions: 13” x 6”. less
