Antique Majorica 6"x 6" x 1 "thick , Hamilton Tile. Ca. 1885. No smoke stains, beautifully glazed, two tone tile, in tan and brown. The color contrast highlights the center raised flower, 2 clusters of three berries and stylized surrounding leaves.
The Hamilton Tile Works Co., was founded by Adolf Metzner and his sons Otto and Max in Hamilton, Ohio.
Displays well. Would look beautiful framed, or incorporated into a display trivet. less
