An unusual vintage blue and white pear-shaped vase mounted as a table lamp. This finely potted large porcelain piece features beautiful contour lines and is adorned with hand-painted meandering leafy scrolls bearing large peonies in underglaze deep cobalt blue. The overall design reveals a clear influence of the imperial porcelain styles of the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is in excellent condition, with minor age-related wear and discoloration to the finishes of the fittings. The lampshade is in used but good condition as well.
This vintage table lamp is a perfect addition to any room, blending traditional aesthetics with practical lighting. Whether placed in a living room, bedroom, or study, it is sure to be a conversation piece and a cherished item for years to come.
