Description: A 14-sided plate with an Asian design in deep cobalt blue from Peter Holdcroft and Co (this is different than … more A 14-sided plate with an Asian design in deep cobalt blue from Peter Holdcroft and Co (this is different than the Clementson version with the same pattern name).

Peter Holdcroft & Co. was one of the famous potters located on Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire, England. Peter Holdroft died in July 1852. His wife took his place and dissolved the company in 1853.

The backstamp has the pattern name "Chusa" surrounded by a scrollwork border with the initials "P.H. & Co" below it
