It dates from the 1970s and was designed by Carl Auböck III and handcrafted by the Werkstätte Auböck in Vienna. The umbrella stand features Auböck's characteristic minimalist design, consisting of just four parts: a heavy, black cast iron base with a white aluminum drip tray and a black-painted metal ring supported by an elegantly curved, nickel-plated brass tube, which impresses with its elegantly shimmering silver surface. This versatile piece can be used in various settings, including entryways, offices, or next to a coat rack to enhance both functionality and decor. In our opinion, this item is a rare find. In very good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
