1960s Black and brass wall lamp attributed to Jacques Biny. An exceptionally clean and simple design executed in brass with a black metal shade. Lamp rotates freely on adjustable swivel. Quintessentially midcentury French in its conception and execution attributed to the incomparable Jacques Biny.
Sold as a pair.
Professionally rewired. Each sconce accommodates a single US candelabra 60w equivalent LED bulb.
Custom period styled circular backplate added for mounting over a standard American j-box. Not UL listed. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note only one representative example appears in the photos, but both lamps in comparable good condition and present well as a pair. More images available upon request. less
