The French Gothic Revival style pendant light will fit perfectly in a foyer or as a semi flush ceiling light in a rooms. The pewter like metal finish varies from light to dark gray with. specks of rust patina throughout. Each corner of the square shaped fixtures is adorned with acanthus leaves, scroll metal work adorns the top and metal mesh completes the square by enclosing the light. The top shaft is fashioned out of metal leaves and has a cover for electrical junction as well.
The fixture is fitted with four candle style lights with four, 40 watt lights, and once turned on, if positioned as a semi flush light, creates a wonderful design display on the ceiling as well as giving enough light for tasks. (see picture). The piece is in working condition again, see the photos. However, if you would to make it a foyer pendant light, it would need to be rewired for that. With any lighting I sell, I do recommend a safety check with an electrician. Pendant is 18 inch square and height with extended hook is 31 inches.
