- This rare and exquisite set of 4 salt silver cellar and 4 gold spoons was the result of the collaboration … more This rare and exquisite set of 4 salt silver cellar and 4 gold spoons was the result of the collaboration between two frenchmen Charles Hack & Achille Hourdequin (also known as Haek & Hourdequiss in the UK) who collaborated from 1884 to 1902. Their mark is two HH with 2 axes in the middle and a star above. The items also have the silver mark of Silver for France. They exhibited at the 1900 Paris Universal Exhibition and were much in demand. The set consist of 4 cellars in silver with the inside in gold platted. Size: cellars: 1/5" in diameter and 1" tall. Average weight: 14 grams and 4 spoons in gold (18kt?) are 2" L x 3/4" W. They weight 7.52 grams for all 4. This set is in particularly great condition, having been stored unused for the last 75 years. The set comes with its original box. less
