Crafted in southern France and carved of stone, each tall greyhound is set on an integral flat base. Seated on their back legs, both dogs have a proud expression further embellished with a collar around their neck. Both stone canines are in excellent condition and adorn a rich patinated antique weathered finish with evidence of outdoor use. The could be used on either side of a front entrance or in a garden. Each dog weighs 90 pounds.
The Greyhound is a sight hound which has been bred for coursing game and greyhound racing. Since the rise in large scale adoption of retired racing Greyhound, the breed has seen a resurgence in popularity as a family pet; it is also referred to as an English Greyhound.
