Westmoreland was founded in 1889 in Ohio, later moving their production to Pennsylvania. The company is known for its high quality, hand decorated glass from the 1920s-30s. Featured is a Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase adorned with a trellis work of silver overlay. The Art Nouveau era is characterized by organic shapes, arches, and curving lines which are all evident in this piece. Elegant yet brawny, this piece is versatile and offers a great deal of visual interest. The glass contains Uranium allowing, the neck of the vase to glow a golden yellow when exposed to black light. less
