The crystal clear lucite reveals a beautifully hand carved and painted pink rose with green leaves. One corner of the hexagon has been cut off to form the base. This unusual shape causes the single rose to appear in 3D as two or three roses depending on the angle. The life like roses are a reverse relief carving in acrylic by air powered drills. The carving is then cleaned of debris, filled with resin dye, and sealed to prevent flaking. It takes six months to a year to learn this carving method developed by Bernard Bir.
