This is just a great original piece. I recently acquired an outstanding collection of photography that comes from the corporate collection of an large and important United States bank. The particular location of the bank was sold and the collection of art went to auction. Some truly wonderful works all archival framed and ready to hang. I am offering quite a few of them in the coming weeks. This is one of a few works by Ileane Naprstek I am offering. All wonderful New York City views. I have tried to find a biography on the photographer but been unable. Her works are in the permanent collections of the Brooklyn Museum and the George Eastman House. This is a wonderful gelatin silver photograph of a birds eye view of New York City. Excellent black and white image measuring 14 1/2 x 14 1/2 inches. Archival matte has the artists signature in pencil lower right below the photograph. Beautiful wood frame ready to hang, perhaps a few small scuffs. Frame measures 26 1/2 x 26 1/2 inches. This photograph comes with the original lucite label that hung on the wall below the photograph. If you like these New York photographs, check my store for the others I am offering.
