Antique GDA Haviland France Very Large Vase
Charles Field Haviland worked at the Limoges factory from 1832 - 1896. He formed a new company with his father in 1865. Founded Charles Field Haviland & Co. in 1870. Took control of the Allaud factory in 1876. In 1881 the firm became GDM (Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel). In 1902 the firm changed to Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbot with a mark of GDA/Frnce,
An impressive 16" high.
Gold gilt handles
Exquisitely handprinted. Two diverse artistic themes, a mother and cherub on 1 side, a Dutch water and windmill scene on the other.
Pastel blues, pinks, greens and beiges
Marked with GDA/France as well as artist initials.
Condition: No chips or cracks. Gold gilt in good condition. less
